Extension of the goals of scholarly involvement, which usually ends up with broadening and deepening of knowledge, towards creative use of the acquired knowledge, understanding and skills in improving circumstances in various socio-cultural contexts. Consideration of situations ranging from intercultural misunderstandings, censorships and wars to global-scale refugee crises and healing with music. Learning about the types of ethnomusicological interventions and achievements within the growing field of applied ethnomusicology. Spcial emphasis is paid to to pedagogical situations. 30 contact hours are focused on fieldwork praxis, adjusted to the educational needs of future teachers.
